Winscape virtual window makes the leap to Kinect in 4K-capable

I just found out about this virtual windows. 
It is interesting and deftly cool I would love to have them. 
They say resolution capable of 4k but they are not using 4k screens / TV's.
Some of the video they used was 4k from RED one. 
I would do this when 4k TV's and or screens come out to buy and don't cost 30k. 


This is what I found about it.


RationalCraft brought its surreal Winscape virtual window to market when the Wii was virtually the only game in town for affordable motion tracking. Microsoft's Kinect has certainly changed the rules of the game since then, so it's almost natural that a fourth-generation Winscape has just launched to make use of the much more sophisticated sensor. For a start, there's no need to dress like Flavor Flav anymore: the camera can recognize anyone, even passers-by, without an oversized necklace. The larger-than-life footage used to generate the window effect has been given its own bump, too, and the app can now handle 4K video as long as the Mac underneath (sorry, Windows folks) is powerful enough to drive it. For those who truly want to be disconnected from reality, there's even six-display support provided it's all hooked up to a Mac Pro and a pair of three-output Radeon HD 5770 video cards. RationalCraft's software is free to try out now, although the requirement for at least two big TVs, a Kinect controller and a fast Mac should say all there is to know about the practical cost of pretending the Golden Gate Bridge is visible from inside a living room in Cleveland.

World's smallest USB 3.0 camera delivers 4K at 21 frames per second, fits in pockets

Back in Jun Point Grey Launched there FLEA 3. Now has 4K 2K sensor from sony. The sensor is 8.8 MP. 

I am blown a way this is out. And love to see the push for more resolution.

This part kind of sucks tho Point Grey recommends using USB 3.0 cameras on Windows 7 32- or 64-bit systems. Linux and mac is not currently supported.

At the moment Arecont Vision has a 10MP but can only do Video frame rate up to 6fps @ 3648 x 2752. 

Mobotix uses 3MP sensor and can only do video frame rate up to 30 fps @ 2048 x 1536. But with Mobotix they come with complete room recording directly in the camera on to a MicroSD card you can add and remove from it. Then External storage Directly on NAS and PC/Server without additional recording software. And they have video management software  witch is Platform-independent format and can be used on Windows, Mac, Linux. This software is free. 

I hope Point Grey does some thing like Mobtix or Mobtix comes out with something with more resolution.

The Amazing spider-man.... In 4K

If you have not checked out the new movie The amazing spider-Man you should.

Dont expect it to be any thing like the other version from the past.

I have seen it in 3D 4k and will be seeing it in 2D 4k as well. 

This movie was shot with the RED epic in both 3D and in 2D. 

I am not much on 3D for movies. Seeing 4K and 8K in 2D looks better to me.

There are times when 3D is cool and interesting to watch but I don't like it all that much for movies. 

Me not liking it at this moment does not mean you or the next person will like it or not.

And theres things that can make the experience bad. Say the glasses you have on as not good, the projector has problems or its in 2k not 4k as well as the DPC's / content is not in 4k.

By the way most IMAX in 2D are 2K and most that show 3D use 2-2k projectors. 

If you want IMAX go to a real IMAX theater. They are massive and use better equipment. 

Still not 4k yet but still amazing to see and a lot better then a reg movie theater.

Its interesting that this as well as other films/movies are sony pictures and all most all use RED cameras. 

Sony did come out with there 8k/4k camera but still more and more use RED. 

Don't get me mix as I only like RED. I use sony nikon and canon for stills and video each have there spot.

This is video from CES 2012. Panasonic was showing a crazy 20" panel thats displaying 4K. NHK provided the eye candy video witch was shot on there 8K Ultra HD video camera. Then  down converted to 4K.

My fist had impression I could not stop looking it looks sooooo good.
I asked if I could buy one at the show.(no luck) :-(
Then we talked about what it could be used for.
When I told them would be nice if apple had a 4K display.
They had that we are working with them on that reaction.
Sounds good to me take my money now I want it NOW! HAHA

I am going to rant about what I see out there.
Cnet tells we don't need 4K and talking about the eyes can't see and all that crap.
Well I see the need and the want even if its smaller.
Seeing 55",60",74",75",85" and so on for the big size.
They all are amazing and even down to the 55" still see the difference.
Even seeing the 20" I could see huge difference. And no I did not need to get up close to see this.
But getting up close did show how fine the pixels are. You can't see them.
Any way I think theres some thing wrong with Cnet and some of people there have lost my respect.
But then could be a marketing scheme. Talk bad about some thing people want to know more and then will check it out.
I don't think it is tho.
One interesting thing tho was at CES 2012 that was most people there asked about 4k and wanted to see it. Around the 8K sharp display all ways had a crazy amount of people loving it and raving about it.

Sorry that you can't get the full effect but I hope you get to see 4K or 8K video asap.
